Lions Club of BridgendBooks Wanted
PLEASE NOTE that as at the 15th March 2020 we have now stopped collecting books and accepting deliveries prior to the Book Fair - our stores are full and we need time to sort and price the books already donated.
Thank you to everyone who has donated books.
Do you have any unwanted books? If so, why not donate them to the Lions for the Annual Charity Book Fair to be held at the Westward Community Centre, Bryntirion, Bridgend.
We will accept books in saleable condition on any subject!
We are also accepting DVDs, CDs and Computer Games.
We are also accepting Jigsaws
Books, CDs, Computer Games, DVDs and Jigsaws can be handed in at the Westward Community Centre on Sunday's only between 10:30am and 11:30 am.
Please do not deliver books to the Centre at any other time as the other users of the centre have no involvement with our Book Fair.

You can also deliver books to the Aberkenfig Welfare Hall on weekday mornings between 11 am and 1 pm. Please note that the outer door is often locked by the playgroup for safety reasons. In this event please ring the bell and someone will come to open the door or walk round to the rear side door.

Please note that house collections will usually stop 3 weeks before the event so as to allow time for sorting and pricing.

As a consequence of the current situation we have made the decision to postpone our other upcoming events for the safety of both our members and the general public. We hope to re-arrange these events next year.
