Lions Club of Bridgend

How to Join Us

To find out more about us and to be considered for membership, simply accept our open invitation to attend one of our meetings, though please firstly telephone, write or e-mail us (use our contact page for details) to let us know you would like to attend.

We currently meet in the Pheasant, Pen-y-Fai.

You will not be asked to make any commitment at this time and you will have the opportunity to meet the existing members and learn more about the Lions Club of Bridgend.

If you are still interested, you will be invited to attend our meetings (every 2nd and 4th Wednesday at 8.00 pm) for a few months.

The second Wednesday is a business meeting where we discuss the reports of the various club officers and make decisions. The fourth Wednesday is a dinner or social meeting – we might have a speaker, or a quiz or other entertainment. Each quarter our partners are also invited to attend.

Membership is then by invitation.

At no time will you incur any commitment. You have nothing to lose - but a lot to gain.

DIARY

1 - 24 December 2020 - Tree of Light

As a consequence of the current situation we have made the decision to postpone our other upcoming events for the safety of both our members and the general public. We hope to re-arrange these events next year.

The Lions Club of Bridgend incorporates The Lions Club of Bridgend Charitable Trust Fund (Charity no: 1143349)

Please be advised that we will never ask anyone seeking a donation from the Lions Club of Bridgend or from Lions Clubs International to make any payment to secure a donation.
Anyone contacting you by telephone, by letter or online and offering a Lions donation in exchange for a fee or advance payment to secure a Lions donation is doing so fraudulently, and you should not proceed with the matter.
