Lions Club of BridgendSome Photographs from our Book Fair
Here are some Photographs from the 2016 Book Fair at Westward Community Centre, Cefn Glas, Bridgend
Below, the books are set out in readiness for the start of the Book Fair
The event was formally opened by the First Minister Carwyn Jones AM, together with the Mayor of Bridgend Cllr David White and Lions Club President Phil Davies.
We were amazed to find that one of the visitors to our Book Fair was the author of one of the books on our 'specials' table - David Greenslade - who happily signed the book entitled 'Welsh Fever' which was published in 1986. David is pictured below with Lions member and 'Specials' book seller Bryant Thomas.

We also had help from friends and family of members, including Will and Leanne (below) from Garforth & District Lions Club, near Leeds who were in charge of our SciFi section.
At the end of the 3 days, Committee Chairman Tony Rees thanked all those who had helped us, including the Westward Community Centre trustees, Bridgend ATC, St John Ambulance, family and friends and most of all the general public who donated the books to us and came to the event.
