Sundays (until 17th March 2024) at Westward Community Centre between 10.30am and 11.30am
Do you have any unwanted books? If so, why not donate them to the Lions for the Annual Charity Book Fair to be held at the Westward Community Centre, Bryntirion, Bridgend.
We will accept books in saleable condition on any subject!
We also accept Jigsaws.
Westward Community Centre
Books and Jigsaws can be handed in at the Westward Community Centre on Sundays only between 10:30am and 11:30 am. Collections will run from early November until 3 weeks before the spring Book Fare, with a pause for Christmas break.
Please do not deliver books to the Centre at any other time as the other users of the centre have no involvement with our Book Fair.
Aberkenfig Welfare Hall
You can also deliver books to the Aberkenfig Welfare Hall on Mondays between from 12 noon and 1:00 pm, from early November. Please note that the outer door is often locked by the playgroup for safety reasons. Please walk round to the rear side door on the right.
Collections
Arrangements can be made for books to be collected in the Bridgend area by contacting us.
Please note that house collections will usually stop 3 weeks before the event so as to allow time for sorting and pricing.
