What is the Book Fair?

Every year we host the largest Charity Book fair in Wales. The event is usually held over 2 days in March/April of each year and is open between 9am and 4pm each day at Westward Community Centre, Llangewydd Road, Bryntirion, Bridgend, CF31 4JR.

Next Book Fare event: 5th and 6th April 2024

There will be literally thousands of books covering all kinds of fiction, non-fiction and children’s categories. All books are in good condition and very competitively priced. We also sell jigsaws!

This event started in 1994 when a profit of nearly £1,000 was raised over the three days. Both the numbers attending and quantity of books have increased steadily over the intervening years until in recent years over 25,000 books have been available for sale generating a massive £200,000 for good causes since 1994.

We also hold a clearance Book Sale in the autumn, see Clearance Sale for more information.

Please remember to bring a re-usable bag with you!
